HI,I am new to the forum, and would like it if somoene could offer me some advice please.I am 30 years old, always had a windy, bloated tummy. Had bloods done etc... and my GP last year told me I have IBS. My main symptoms are that I get bloated, need to have a wee more often, get a spasm type pain up my bottom it is very wierd, it almost feels like a huge ball of wind is sitting low down in my bottom and I need to blow it out, but I can't
Sorry
I get heartburn in my chest and back sometimes too, mys tomach always sounds gassy when it flares up.I had a bad time with it the week of christmas, but by Boxing Day it had gone and I felt fine again, but now it is back, it started late last night. Id had chilli pasta and cheese for lunch, it is abit spicy but I do love my spicy food, it was about 6 hours later though that the IBS type pains and gassy tummy hit, could that be the cause though? I had been feeling fine again until last night.I have been to the loo twice today, once it was quite hard to remove (but formed, tmi) and then just now when it was abit looser but not diorheoa. Not like me to go twice in a day!I have seen my GP and she gave me buscopan and paracetamol for the pains and spasms. It seems to get worse during my period or ovulation too.Does the needing to wee more often and the spasm/ball of wind up the bum thing sound like IBS? My GP says they are IBS symptoms but I don't know anyone else who gets them. Can anyone help reassure me, I am abit anxious about it all
