Now I have noticed that when my poop is formed it is now covered with white stringy material. Is this just mucous, is it yeast? I can't stand to even look into the toilet anymore. God knows what I will find next.

Thanks K for the response. Just went to the new GI doc yesterday and had such a bad experience with him that I am completely out of whack with my emotions now.Oh well, I guess I am going tohave to do what he said and learn to live with this illness. I just never thought of IBS as so debilitating.
