If this is sharp pains, it is most likely gas blocked by the food you consumed earlier. Avoid milk it is mucus forming and makes your insides sticky and the gas can't get past this obstruction (undigested food), causing sharp pains! If the pain is a burning sensation, you probably drank or ate something acidic. Like tea, on an empty stomach, it causes an overall dull burning sensation, atleast this is what I have found to be my case. For me cheese does not produce this mucus and may actually help coat your bowels with friendly bacteria. I read somewhere the natural bowel flora (good guys) die off after a few days if you don't eat some dairy. Goat's milk yougurt doesn't form mucus either, but it tastes terrible, why , not sweet, low on sugar, add shredded coconut to it(yeast doesn't like that). Sugar must feed these bad guys, starve them and feel better. If you must have sugar drink regular pepsi cola(not diet) and I've notice symptoms aren't as bad. Pepsi is very abrasive and will hopefully clean out the bad guys, then try the yogurt or cheese, to reestablish the good guys. The bad guys like an acid environment, eat more alkaline foods. Hope this helps,Good Luck!
