I have IBS-C and I semed to be doing ok for a few weeks. Well its flaring its ugly head again and its been 3 days since i have had a BM. Well this morning I had a small BM with alot of mucus. Is this normal?? Just to add I have extremely high anxiety so I freak out about everything. I had a colonoscopy done in January and it came back fine. Is passing alot of mucus normal?

Hi Dana1969If your colonscopy have come back ok, you do not need to worry too much.On my bad days, I have mucus too. Don't be too stress out. Remember Stress causes IBS-C too.I take carrot juice (about 5 sticks) at night daily and this helps with the BM in the morning. On days I think I am going to have a problem, I will also take prune juice (preferably with pulp).Hope this helpsTerence
