Other than the itch, burn and irritation of hemorrhoids, does anyone ever feel like there is something inside the anus. My thoughts is that the hemmie is swollen and a person who is sensitive can feel this inside the anal cavity. Had a digital exam by my PA and she said I have a hemorroid that is half inside and half out. Anyone else feel these little monsters. No severe pain, just anoying.Tania

Yes I hate those little bastards! I use Preparation H cooling Gel in the morning and at night to cool it all off! It works fairly well.

THE BIG QUESTIONo you all have this hemmie problem all the time (chronically) or just once in a while? I have this anal sphinter irritation most of the time. I think it could be from the looser stools---something making the BM's burn the skin?????Tania

Okay, this is sort of related, but you brought up something I certainly wouldn't have thought to ask about.

Sometimes it burns after a bad bout of diarrhea. I have no clue why, though. Does anyone else experience this?
