i have suffered from this ibs thing for over a year now, makes me wish it never existed, my father suffers from it and a few people on my father's side of the family suffered from iti used to have hemmorhoids, then went last week to get them removed in the surgery ward but when the doctor done a camera scan on me he said nothing was there and he couldn't treat me :Sit still feels like i have them, he said ibs and anxiety can make me feel like thisdoes anyone else experience it? feels weird when sitting down, can be painful if constipated, my bowels usually pass fine when going to the toilet but still feels like something has to come out (sometimes feels like something is coming out even though there is nothing coming out) and get a sort of wet feeling in the anus which makes me think i've soiled myself even though when i check my boxers there's nothing there and no smellthen i start to get the growling sounds, bloated, gassy feeling which keeps going on constantly, tickly sides, pains in my lower backi would take apple cider vinegar, alverine spasomal (60mg), citalopram 10mg (anti-depressant also used for anxiety) and lactulose dailydrink loads of mineral water and eat away at fibre foodsany help would be appreciated

All that sounds familiar. Incompete evacuation is really common with IBS. (either feeling like you need to go, or needing to go again shortly after going and needing several trips to the toilet to be done).There is a pelvic floor issue called Levator Ani syndrom and often that is described like sitting on a ball and it gets better if you stand or lie down. There really isn't a lot to treat that, but hot baths can sometimes help relax those muscles so it feels better.
