Hi,I have been suffering from IBS for years and have tried a number of various treatments, from acupuncture, herbs, meds, therapy....and nothing is working. My therapist has recently recommended serzone to help cope with my symptoms a bit, has anyone taken this med and have any comments on the side effects etc.? I am really sensitive to medications and in the past most have made my symptoms much worse so I am a bit hesitant to try it, but I really need something to help me get through the day a little bit...I am so sick of this getting in the way of everything!! Any thoughts?

quote: What are the possible side effects of nefazodone? If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking nefazodone and seek emergency medical attention: an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives); or prolonged, painful, or inappropriate erections (this could lead to a serious condition requiring surgery). Other, less serious side effects are more likely to occur. Continue to take nefazodone and talk to your doctor when it is convenient if you experience: dizziness, lightheadedness, or drowsiness; upset stomach; insomnia; dry mouth; constipation; or blurred or abnormal vision. Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
