Hi guys I am new to this, I have been reading up alot about IBS because I think that is what I have. I have been having stomach problems since this summer. Everything I ate would go right through me, My stomach would start rumbling and that was it. I felt and still feel naseous all the time i went to the doc and he prescribed me Protonix which helped alot. I was tested for an ulcer and nothing showed up. After taking the protonix for a month i was fine then about a month and a half later i starting getting sick so i did the 14 day prilosec treatment and that helped same thing happened though about a month and a half after i starting getting sick again. My doc doesn't understand why these meds are helping with that. Has anyone have any advice for me. I hope this is not too confusing.

hey there well I don't know even if i have IBS. not sure if u read the first post I wrote. I am going to see a GI specialist on tues. but if he says i have IBS it would be ibs-d. it is all so new to me. i just started taking protonix again because my doc had prescribed me Ranitidine and it really didn't help. I am really frustrated with it all because I don't eat alot and i have lost alot of weight which was good in the beginning but now i don't wanna lose anymore. I just wanna figure out if i do really have IBS so that i can be kinda normal.So Nuvlev works for you.thanks for the advice, it is greatly appreciated.
