I was diagnosed with IBS in my early 20's (lotsa years ago) and had fairly mild symptoms on and off for years. It has become much worse recently. I have pain and pulling feeling in left side into groin area, gas, bloating, back pain and pain in my left hip into top part of leg. Is hip and leg pain a symptom of IBS? Anyone with similar symptoms?
unfortunately that is what I have been feeling for years. That is IBS for me. I am surprised that alot of people don't talk more about the back pain that goes with it.
I have lots of leg pain and you're right not many people with ibs seem too mention it. It travels from my groin down the front and inside of my legs to my knees. It is more like a crampy ache and often my legs feel weak and wobbly.
I'm sorry to hear you've had IBS so long. Although,I think I might be able to help. I have hip and leg pain sometimes..Due to my left leg being longer than my right. My back is out of place, and I'm going to a chiropractor to get back into place. You should have a scan done on your back, and maybe that'll answer some questions.
Hope this helps
