Hi all!!Well I made it through the surgery! First good news is I didn't need the whipple procedure, (they saved my pancreas...woohoo). And no stomach was removed.It was called a 'partial gastrectomy and a cholecystectomy. They were unable to cut out the damaged duodenum because of the pancreatic and bile ducts. Well I have lots to share but am exhausted, hurting and need to rest. I shall drop a line tomorrow with details! And I can't wait to catch up with all I've missed over the last 10 days.I just had to come to the computer first to visit this awesome IBS group with an update, but shhh don't tell anybody
