how long does it take?

For the bruises to go away? I got iron shots back in October, once a week for a month. I just walked by the mirror today with no clothes on and noticed that my entire lower back, generally in the area where I had gotten the shots is still black and blue. I can only guess that the shots is what the bruises are from as I havne't hurt myself at all lately. Why I just noticed the bruises now, well I guess in the part of hte house where I usually change, the mirrors are up too high. Anyways, any ideas?>
