I find that when I follow an IBS diet, I have to eat more to PREVENT losing weight. You will probably be avoiding fried foods, dairy products, sugar, processed foods, alcohol, maybe gluten and yeast, so I imagine that the diet you will be following will help you lose weight fairly effortlessly, esp if coupled with an exercise programme.I actually go for a high protein diet with lots of fish and chicken as well as rice and any vegetables that you feel you might be able to tolerate.
im the opposite, im ibs-d inclined and cant gain any weight wat so ever even on a high carbs high protein diet. its like i can get no fat what so ever into my body at all. i'd like to gain about 20lbs, anyone any ideas?
