Yup, I am alive and doing better each day. They got all the cancer in the surgery, so no chemo. The staples are out, not much pain, although I still often feel bruised inside. I am off of the demerol, just taking tylenol at this time. The hot flashes have been the worst part, and I am STILL waiting on the premarin to kick in and start working. I MAY just have to live with these darned things, although they are coming less often these last few days, and my mood swings are leveling out. If you ever have to have a hysterectomy, keep at least one ovary if at all possible! Surgical menapause is a B**ch! AWFUL! SIGH.... I will survive this though! Thanks again for asking. Love, Maggie
