I am tired, I am drained, my rear end burns and I still have 3 full glasses to drink at 80z intervals. I feel like I am going to throw up and need to sleepa VERY whiny lisaa

Lisaa -It will all just be a bad memory soon and think of the piece of mind you'll have when you can be diagnosed properly. My Dad died of colon cancer because he never had one of these until it was way too late. So instead of one bad night he had 3 years of suffering through treatments before he finally died. I don't want to be morbid but I just think colonoscopies are so important and the "pain" of the prep so temporary. Good luck with the rest of your night and with tomorrow. Good for you for having one at all!

Lisaa:I am going through the same thing tonight. I have finished about 3/4 of a bottle of Fleets PhosphSoda and I can't stand the thought of drinking another sip. You have to go "clear" before they consider you clean enough for the test. I don't know if I'm going to make it. I am also having an endoscopy tomorrow. Between the two, we hope to find out why I suddenly stopped pooping! Also, my reflux has gotten much worse. I am worried because I have lost 9 pounds in the last month. I'm not eating because I'm not pooping. Not hungry when you're always full.Good luck with your test tomorrow. I've had one before. It's nothing. They give you a little sedation and that's all you remember! The prep is much worse than the test.Take care,

I drank about 3 out of the 4 litres of my colyte prep. I am going just liquid for the past little bit so I am stopping. I feel so stuffed and like i want to throw up - and then eat something LOLI too and having both tomorrow - the throat and the colon . I am more worried about the throat. I was told that the throat one would be second so hopefully I will be so sedated that I will not notice. I am about to take a bath - try to soak the nerves awayL.

Hi lisa, I just read your post and had to jump in here about the throat test. I am the biggest weenie and i dont remember a single thing abut having it done. you are just so out of it. i remember asking my husband when they were going to do it and he said it was already done! It really is no big deal at all. You got through the worst part already and its OVER!!! yeah! Go take a hot bath and get a good book and you will be just fine!!!!! I have a lot of testing coming up on the 20th of May and i think just thinking about it all is the worst part. Hugs, jody

I threw up many many times... it sucks ass. No matter what treatment you get, it sucks. The drink tastes like ####, the pills are huge and make you throw up, its all the fun before you get a camera shoved up yuor rear. Just wait though, when that knockout drug hits you, GONE! I swear to god I was still waiting for the meds when I was in post,lol. And you walk funny all day(not from the camera, from the drugs), high as a freaking kite, just wait until you can enjoy that one. Ah well, hopefully you'll get some good meds after that, my meds after that are AWESOME, I love it, keeps it under control nice. Just remember this, it is worth it. Raven
