After suffering since may with incomplete evacuation, abuse of suppositories, zelnorm, miralax, citrucel, prune juice & fiber one, am going to Temple Univeristy's Dept of Gastroentereology. I am in almost constant pain now. I have to struggle through each day with spasms, left side pain, trapped gas (flux, the doctor felt it), pelvic horrible congestion. I am also in cognitive behavioral therapy and am on all kinds of psych meds. Yet, I hold a job and am a wife & mommy. The pain only worsened this week. Just posting my story,Joan

I am going to start biofeedback soon too. I have a weak pelvic floor and weak sphincter muscles.

Hi Joan I have been going to Temple Gi for about 8 years now. They have a very good gi department and all test and procedures are there also. I see Dr. Parkman but Dr. Fischer is also very good. Good luck to you, you will be in good hands there they are VERY thorough.Best of LuckAlison

could some one explain this " biofeedback " stuff. I too suffer with incomplete evacuation. any info is appreciated. its hard to play wife and mommy when you feel like hell all of the time!!
