Just wanted to share some success I have recently had. Been struggling with IBS-A for quite a few years. Tends to be cyclical with shorter cycles as I have grown older. It's always been difficult to pin down triggers like specific foods or stress, though at times these are undoubtedly factors. I started a pill regiment every morning several months ago. Every morning when I wake up I am doing a probiotic, two fiber pills, two alpha-galactosidase enzyme (Beano) pills, and two lactase enzyme pills. My logic is promote good digestion, prevent constipation, reduce gas and lactose intolerance reactions. It's been a miracle! My digestion and movements have been incredibly regular and I have had no bouts for months. I haven't been this stable in years. Worth a try if you're struggling with IBS-A. I'll report back again with my progress.
