I had severe reflux and heartburn that was corrected by surgery 18 years ago. The surgery completely fixed both of these which has been wonderful.Unfortunately, at the same time something triggered, which after about a zillion tests, IBS symptoms. Virtually anything can trigger it, but the most deadly thing is something sweet and warm or fatty in the morning. That said, seems anything I would eat for breakfast will get the intestines rumbling and whatever I just had starts shooting through. Thus, I have pretty much cut out breakfast.I am kind of a high strung person (wish I wasn't but I am) and subject to stress, and I am sure this doesn't help much. Any comments or words of wisdom would be appreciated. By the way, I have minimal success with calcium but I continue to take it anyway...Thanks
