Hello; I have had IBS symptoms ever since getting diverticulitis several years ago. It's been a long haul; now I know how to control my diet to avoid flareups. However, every once in a while I do get a low grade flareup, with low grade fever and some swelling. My gi doc is not too impressed as it is low grade.I am wondering if there are any members who have a similar background, to discuss divertic topics - antibiotics, getting through flareups, etc

Hi Joolie and thanks for responding.After the divertic I ended up with terrible food intolerances. Now eat mostly carbohydrates; it is very limiting. I think it's from too much antibiotic treatment, but I have not been able to tolerate probiotics to try and correct this. So there I am...Am finding the posts very interesting.
