is ibs-d considered a chronic illness that is covered under the flma?

I have FMLA coverage for my IBS at work. On the paperwork there is a question that asks if patient is incapasated(spellin?). Doctor should check no, but intermittenly.This allows me to call off sick on bad days and it doesn't count against me on job bidding, etc. Up to 60 days a year.
