I don't know if having my period three times in one month has anything to do with my IBS, but I think there must be a connection. Or, my medication may be causing it (zoloft and bentyl). Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this from either of these medications? I am really worried.
IBS and periods....

Hi, I have not been diagnosed with IBS (in the process).. but I just had 3 periods in 5 weeks and have had stomach pain (non-period cramping) associated with it. I am on Zoloft. I think there is a connection between irregular periods and IBS.. but I can't prove it. If you are really worried, I would suggest seeing your doctor. I am not worried about the irregular periods as I've had them all my life, but I am worried about the IBS. Hang in there.
