I have had IBS D for about 6-7 years now. It's is a horrible disease. Never knowing if you'll make it to the bathroom in time or not. I have had a few accidents, thankfully nobody ever knew. I have just recently had a bad flare-up and finally had to go back to my gastroenterologist. He put me back on Librax. My problem is that I just got re-married and I'm 40 now. We want to have a baby now and obviously we can't wait. Does anybody know the effects of Librax on pregnancy or any safe alternatives. Is imodium safe? I lived on it (about 2-3 a day) for a year or so. My gastroenterologist didn't know the answer to that question about Librax being safe or not. Gee, Im glad I asked. Thanks for any help. You can e-mail me at Qisa###aol.com.
