Does anyone else here that has ibs have troulble with urinary tract infection? I have had 2 since march of this year, i think im about to have another one. Im picking up some of the usual symptoms. This is really aggrivating . My doc says its just from the ibs, but im a little worried, i hope this is not something i will have forever. Any info you have will be helpful.

Hi,I too have experienced UTI and also have had kidney infections because of the IBS. My urologist put me on therapy for a month. Knock on wood!!!!! I have not had one for over 4 months. They are definitely related and mine were very cronic. The daily medication for a month helped stop the infection. You might want to talk with a urologist about the UTI. ------------------BARBARA
