I haven't been officially diagnosed with anything yet, but have some serious GI issues. Doctors have told me it may be IBS or could be IBD (great, THAT narrows it down!) I looked at the symptoms chart on this site: http://www.ibsgroup.org/symptoms and find I'm pretty much all over the place, not fitting into any category at all. It doesn't mention anything about having your sleep interupted (which I am grateful for not having that specific problem), but is that symptom a red flag for IBS? I've seen a few people mention that problem on here. What confuses me is that I ALWAYS am sick with D within 10minutes of getting up in the morning (during the week that's 5am), but on any day I get to sleep in (has been 1pm before) I'll be fine for a couple hours when I get up, then get really sick later. How is that possible for your body to be used to having major issues at the same time every day, then to just shut that off and hold back for an extra 10hrs one day? If I'm that sick why wouldn't it just wake me up? This pattern has lasted about a year. Is this happening with a lot of other people out there?
