okay so since I can't remember, I've suffered from panic attacks and anxiety. along with that, I was diagnosed with ibs - d about four years ago, and was told by my specialist that it was most likely cause from child hood anxiety issues.

so for the past few years I've had my ibs relatively under control with one or two attacks a week (better than every morning and after any meal). but lately my ibs has been affecting me a bit a night, cause my anxiety levels to rise as my body knows what can happen from three aches and pains.

now my question is, is there any tricks I can do to calm myself down before bed and is there any stronger ibs medication that can help control the pain and other effects?

also I have a feeling being on the contraceptive pill and taking it at night may have something to do with this on going issue

thanks
