Hi, I fixed my IBS-D with a combination of food diary (alcohol+coffee), identification of stress, CBT, exercise, hypnotherapy and tricyclic antidepressants the ADs where the main one because i had become obsessed with fixing myself and my stress was in fact cuasing most of the problem but also triggerslook up GI stimulants on the forum/web they are the usual bad guysi have tried peppermint, calcium, acupuncture, massage, chinese herbal, imodium, antispasmodics, 5htp, samE, betablockers, vitamins, saint johns wort with no success but some people have tried these and been successful. reading a lot of people stories regarding toilet mapping etc, a lot of it is self induced stress and panic/anxiety which causes a loop of reinforcing symptoms and behaviour, both a food item and stress may be contributing, even small background work stress also be scientifice try one at a timeuse imodium and antispasmodis when you have to but they can interfere with your method of finding the causei have also posted a full write up on the forum regarding my trials and tribulationsibs is not one thing, it may be a combination of things, it may be stress, it may be food, u have to use a process to identify it, talk to your doctor to work out the best series of tests for you and dont let them brush you off ibs is cureable its just a process because the symptoms of ibs are so non specific. All the bestbartek
