I have IBS-D mostly and have had extremely flaky scalp problems for about the past year. Certain conditioners with mint and tea tree oil help, but there are always flakes after I shower until I blow dry my hair. Is this a side-effect of IBS? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks

No I don't think it is a typically part of IBS. Just try to keep yourself hydrated and use dry & flaky scalp and skin treatments. Don't forget we can have other conditions as well as IBS simultaneously.

helloI have horribly dry flaky skin, my hair isn't too bad but my face is like seriously flakey. After my shower I have to exfoliate with a cloth every day otherwise I look horrible with dry white flakes all over my face. I even get them when I feel I am well hydrated. I have extremely oily skin as well so like if I missed a shoswer in just one day I look like I haven't had one in a week. But right after the shower and my face dries it is all flakey. I tried metrogel for my face which helped somewhat, You can look up rosacea or seborhea dermatitis there is a different cream for seborhea dermatitis which has antifungal in it !!!
