Nat, Good for you! It took TEN years for me to get the dx of endo! A laprascopy is a very simple outpatient procedure and it's the only way to get a clear dx. Thanks.

Actually JenS,I had a laparoscopy 11 years ago and was told by my present surgeon that if I did not have endometriosis then, it is more likely that I don't have it now. Nevertheless, I want my GI specialist to send me to a GYN... I've had three ultrasounds (2 pelvic and 1 endovaginal) to rule out any major abnormalities. Don't know what the GYN will say, but he might have some kind of an idea since it's his field. This is starting to feel like the never-ending story
