Can anyone tell me what fibromyalga is, somebody emailed me about it and I dont seem to be able to find a place that describes symptoms. I have been diagnosed with IBS but the constant discomfort and pain have me wondering. Can you have both at the same time.

Fibromyalgia is the correct spelling. There is a wealth of information on the Internet. Try a search again. There is no reason why you cant have both IBS and Fibro ( as some like to call )They are both very different and separate conditions. Please dont self diagnose, see your doctor. It takes a good MD to make the final diagnosis of both of these conditions as neither can be detected by one simple step.------------------Brenda S, R.N.This too shall pass !Although I am a nurse, nothing I say here should be taken as medical advice, its only personal experience. See your own doctor for any medical questions & answers.
