Genny - could you possibly be having a gall bladder attack? I ask because you have described pain in the rt side which radiates around, pain in the lower back above the hip, everything hurts, can't sit or lie down. If it is a gall bladder attack, it could last for hours or just a few minutes. I alternated between hours long bouts of pain and short bursts of pain where I would be back to sleep in a matter of minutes.
