I have been diagnosed with crohns and I'm wondering what the diffrents between the two really are and wether the suggestions on this board for ibs would help me or not

Chron's is one of the Inflamatory Bowel disorders, an autoimmune problem. IBS is a functional problem (irritable bowel syndrome. While the pain and diarrhea can be common between the two, there are entirely different issues that are involved with Chron's.I'd expect the people over on the Chron's board at this same site would be much more helpful.K.
