IBS Pain
Besides the explosive stools and panic attacks after meals I have a constant lower left nagging ache that starts about 15-30 minutes after I wake up and pretty much stays with me all day until I go to bed. For some reason the spasm's seem to stop when I am sleeping and I don't get woken up by the pain. I am a male, 44 years old and was diagnosed with severe spasms, IBS, at age 17. My pain episodes can go from a couple of months to 8 or 10 months. I have "good years" and "bad years". Colonoscapy 3 years ago showed nothing new, same old story.
