Having both IBS and non-infectious prostatitis, it seems to me that when one acts up, it also induces the other to act up. Obviously, organs involved are all in the same area. The prostate is even examined rectally. Don't know about females, but wonder if they might have urinary problems along with IBS. Does anyone else notice a link, or am I just nuts?

I can't really help on this issue other than to say I am a female who has been diagnosed with an "overactive bladder" by my GP. I do notice that when my IBS is bad, it does aggravate my bladder so for me there definately seems to be a link between the two.
