Wecome Todd! I have had IBS-D for many years now and have been "living" on immodium. Recently I started taking two calcium-carbonate tablets. One in the am and one in the pm. So far, it's been great!!!!! Good luck

Good luck Todd! I'm having great luck with the tablets that you are going to try and that's when I take them also. (I also take my immodium every now and then in the am if I'm worried about what I've eaten) Let us know how you do!

yeah! I have it all over the place. Pop them like candy sometimes! Not anymore though. The calcium worked very quickly with me. Now, I only have a bad day once in a very great while and I'm more likely to take 3 calcium pills instead of two if I want to eat something that might "upset" me. Less expensive than the Immodium too!

No, I have a lot less gas than I used to before I started taking the calcium carbonate. Todd, glad this is helping your IBS-D. Now to find a good balance. I actually can eat small salads now!Plane trip tomorrow am, wish me luck. I'm still nervous about it even though my IBS is a bit under control. That whole "mind" game is starting. UGH......
