I found out about this product from the dietician at my HMO. I pretty much lived on the stuff for 5 months before they took my gallbladder out and I could eat again. I keep it on hand now to use during flare-ups of diverticulitis when the medical advice is to go on a low fiber diet in order to allow the colon to rest and heal. It's also great for those few days before colonoscopies, barium enema xrays etc where you are told to go on a clear liquid diet. It's a *very new* product from Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories, Inc., makers of the old yucky Ensure. It's called Ensure Enlive, clear liquid nutrition, and it really does taste good! It comes in Peach and Apple flavors, and I think the Peach tastes close to the real thing. It's an 8.1 fl oz carton that comes with its own little straw, and each carton contains:Calories 300Fat 0Lactose 0Cholesterol <5mgSodium 65mgPotassium 40mgTotal Carb. 65gDietary Fiber 0gSugars 15gProtein 10gVitamins: A,C,D,E,K,B12,Calcium,Iron,Thiamin,Riboflavin,Niacin,Folate,Magnesium,Zinc,Selenium and others. It's being used mostly in hospitals and nursing homes now according to the dietician, so is kind of difficult to find. However, the pharmacy at our local Albertson's grocery store was able to order it for me and other stores could too if they will just do a little work for you. Albertson's charged me $32.19 per case, and there are at least 24 in each case, so that comes out to about $1.35 per carton if my division is correct. What's a Coke cost??Just thought I would pass this information and my experience with it along to all of you. I just couldn't handle any more clear chicken broth and non-red Jello and thought this was a great alternative in addition to being more nutritious.

I researched at the local health food store and found an herbal supplement called Triphala Internal Cleanser by Planetary Formulas which is supposed to help with odor. I haven't found them to be much help. Anyone else have suggestions?
I think Anit meant for her reply to go in the post on natural detoxifiers.
I've been looking for this product for two months! Couldn't even find a maker of it. I will check around. Thanks for the info
