I'm Having a Cr*ppy Anniversary

For those of you who don't visit the Meeting Forum, I've already posted this there. The title is intended to be taken literally.Today is my husband's birthday/our wedding anniversary. My husband is out running several errands to get our vehicles ready for school on Monday. We do school runs and have 4 vehicles to get inspected, plated, etc. I stayed home because I just "knew" this was going to be a bad day.I went out briefly with my parents. Big mistake. Had a major case of "D" and have been home ever since, spewing forth my innards.Don't know "why" I'm stricken with this sudden fit of diarrhea. Getting majorly worried about school starting on Monday - I'm responsible for transporting OODLES of children to and from school and praying I'm not gonna be like THIS on Monday! And here I am worrying about not being able to buy the Caltrate eh? Probably isn't even working anymore.Just a "venting" session. Sorry...

Anxious-Sorry you're having such a bad day. I'm sure once school starts and you get into the routine of things your IBS will calm down. Don't worry, you'll be able to get the Caltrate. I'm sure it is probably still working and the D today is just from stress so it will go away. Hope you feel better soon, Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to your Hubby.------------------Nancy

Anxious - Oh you poor thing!!! I feel so bad for you. You answered a post from me earlier saying you were feeling upset too, and it must have gotten worse since then.Keep up with the Caltrate...it might be hard for you to find, but I am in the US - please let me know if you need some. I cant imagine how I would feel if someone told me that I wouldnt be able to get it. Before you start worrying about it any further, please let me know when you are running low!My thoughts and best wishes are with you. Try to enjoy your anniversary as much as possible today, and make up the going out part of the celebration as soon as you are feeling better.Let us know how you are doing....

Anxious, don't give up on the Caltrate. During the beginning of July I had a set back that resulted in lots and lots of loose stool accompanined by major headaches. Nothing was helping. I finally realized I was under some major inlaw stress and it was causing my IBS to flare up big time. I kept up with the Caltrate and just really watched what I ate. After a few weeks, all was fine again and I haven't had a problem yet.Ann
Thanks you wonderful people you!I wouldn't be surprised GoesAlot if it IS stress this time - my worrying about the Caltrate and all - usually I don't attribute my IBS to stress though. And if my in-laws were in town Ann, then definitely I would say that would be the cause - *L*!Yes IBSGoAway - I definitely got "worse" after I posted that to you. And thanks for the offer to send me the Caltrate. I've had lots of offers actually - what wonderful people on this board. I'm hoping I can get it some other way though, just to save you all the trouble...Anyway, I'm a bit better now. We ordered pizza for supper - I figured if I'm going to sh*t myself anyway, I might as well enjoy what I eat! Actually I'm still a bit crampy and that pain in my side is still there - although it has subsided a bit - the main thing is no "D" - yet anyway. And Ann I know that about the Caltrate - I've been through this before from time to time and every time I wonder.... is this it? Did it finally stop working? Then all gets better again...
