I am going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding over the weekend and I am not really sure what to do about the whole "food" thing. I am on a really restrictive diet and I am supposed to be ### her house 8:00 then hair/make-up/ceremony/picture etc... so basically I am not sure what to do for lunch and dinner b/c I won't be able to eat the same food as the other people. I just hope that everything goes well... and I am not too nervous... I am just going to stock up on immodium and pray for the best...

HI,I agree with Lisa can you possibly take a cooler with you or maybe give it to someone you know...It would be a good idea if you took some Imodium in the morning,,and yes you can take it on a empty stomach I do all the time....can you eat crackers or something light...as long as you take Imodium I think you will be ok...I feel bad for you...try and have a good time...and please let us know how you make out...Best of luck....Chris

I was in a wedding a month ago...my own!
..and I watched what I ate really closely that day. I also had Luna bars for lunch...they are pretty easily tolerated by me and have lots of good stuff in them. And some preventative Immodium is good! I also had food I thought would be OK at the dinner, but you don't get as much input into the menu as I had
Just bring something you know you can eat, and you'll be fine
