kimmie, this type of thing is what got me to go to the doctor....when you are going to have a BM do you feel like the world is speeding up? like everything is going faster and you feel like something really bad is going to happen and maybe your hands start sweating and you wonder if you are going to throw up and you go to the bathroom and just have an unpleasant bowel movement (D) and nothing more? this was my experience and that would only happen when i had to "go"....my doctor started me on sertraline (Zoloft) and i havent had that problem since.....i have had plenty of unpleasant bowel movements (but less after i started taking Caltrate) but never that really awful feeling before...now its either an "uh-oh this might not be fun" feeling or a "oh time to do that" feeling....this makes me wonder if the anti-depressant is somehow affecting the chemicals in my gut...i should mention that i also have the anxiety disorder OCD (but that started a long time ago) so thats the main reason i'm taking the Zolofti should also add that while my doctor wasn't at all concerned by my symptoms, i have not had a colonoscopy to take a look at things...PM me if you have any more questionsmm

i had an additional thought but beware this is just conjecturewhat if i was so obsessed with my bad BMs that my body started panicking for me as soon as it knew i was going to have to go?...before i had that problem i was definitely in a lot of just mental anguish about the whole process...i wonder if i trained my body to panic?just a thoughtmm
