How does the body initially react to digestive enzymes? Has anyone experienced increased bloating or exaggerated symptoms when they add digestive enzymes to meals? Could this be the body beginning to heal itself?
Usually, if they have pancreatin in them, they should relieve bloating and it usually isn't a makes it much worse before you get better.I've never noticed a bad reaction to the ones with pancreatin in them (not true of all enzyme preparations and they are the only kind with clinical evidence they could reduce bloating).
The Enzymes that I have had good luck are Carb Digest by Kirkman Labs (http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/ViewProductDetail[email protected][email protected]). Other ones I have tried don't seem to work well and cause me to have small pop farts. Not good at work. Kirkman Labs also has good probiotics.
