Have any of you tried physicians choice total detox program? I went to their website and they seem to offer a 4 pill package that: clears old fecal matter as well as mucas out of the intestine, kills unfriendly bacteria, reforms stomach lining, and develops healthy flora(bacteria). If you haven't tried this product have any of you tried any other intestinal cleaning products such as colon care?

Consider yourself "fluxed".There is no such thing as "old fecal matter" in your intestines. Mucous is a natural excretion of the intestions and has a beneficial effect. "Intestinal cleansing" is a hoax.

I totally agree with "Musem". If you have ever had a colonoscopy before and had to do the prep you know that it doesn't take that long (relatively speaking) to clean out your entire intestine to the point where you are passing only water. Fecal matter does not build up on the inside of your intestine and become "old". There are fecal impactions, but you would know it if you had it. Furthermore, you can't kill "bad bacteria" without killing "good bacteria". Mucus is a normal part of the entire digestive process, and we don't desire to eliminate it at all. Save your money and the grief. ~JR~

I'm sure that you guys know more about this than I do, but I had a flex sig & my GI told me I had "old fecal matter on the sides" of my colon.

Hi JennNot trying to pick on you, just I think what we are trying to say is that the claims of the product are rather far-reaching and general. It is possible to have fecal material retained in different parts of the bowel, the questons is what is the significance and under what conditions, and what is a safe way of cleansing without upsetting the homeostasis of the bowel and is that really necessary or helpful.Since time is short I would be happy to go look at the formulation if you give me the link....I would if I was the manufacturer stay awy from claims like "reforms stomach lining". Post the link and I will take a peek tomorrow at the ingredients. Or maybe Flux or Musem alreay has it and can post it.MNL______________ www.leapallergy.com
