Hey thereI'm new to this forum but have been suffering IBS as long as I can remember. I was only diagnosed early last year and have tried a number of different things to fix it. I to am IBS-C and tend to start the day with a flat tummy but it looks like I'm about 4 months pregnant by the time I go to bed. I have read a book called the IBS Low Starch Diet and gave it a go this week by cutting out any starchy foods (potatoes, oats, bread, bananas etc) and it has made a huge difference to the pain and gas! I still tend to look bloated at the end of the day but for now, the fact that I don't suffer as much is great.I've also found I have more energy and don't get that lethargic/groggy feeling after meals. I also did a test and had potato for dinner one night, almost straight away the pain started so I'm confident I have found a diet that will work for me long term

That sounds great Mossley. I will get this book in my library. Mossley, can you give us some informations how you ate yesterday, today, etc. . Can you give us some examples? What do you eat in the morning (instead of bread and oats)?
