does this sound normal for IBS pain? I feel like when gas passes through a certin area that it has a hard time passing through like it is pushing hard to get where it need to go. almost like a twisting pain. It feels like things get stuck. Very painful!

IBS can pretty much cause every pain description you can imagine and a few you can't.that being said,Sounds like a fairly typical description of pain in IBS.

I know how you feel Megs. I feel like I have a big balloon in my belly that is slowly leaking air. Every time it leaks, I have excruciating pain. It just won't go away, and when I am able to pass the gas.....it still hurts.
