Several months ago I was diagnosed with IBS, yet I have never heard of anyone having the same symptoms. I get the stomach problems like most and I'm almost always cold, but I also have flare ups in which it feels like my insides are comming out. Just like full blown labour except instead of a baby comming out I get hemorrhoids. It comes on very suddenly and when it happens it hurts so bad I can't even think. The doctor gave me Dicetel but it did't help, so she had me cut down the fiber and drink lots of water and that didn't work either. So I put the fiber back in my diet and I'm back to where I started from.Can anyone relate to this? I need some help.
Is this really IBS?

You can get extreme severe pain from IBS, yes.Its actually hard to believe for new people how bad the pain can get and still when the gut is examined it looks normal.
