Only problem is that the article contradicts itself about it by stating he had " severe and potentially dangerous bouts of diarrhea". That strongly implies it was not IBS.quote:he nytimes even comes out of the closet and names it as IBS and it sounds like the d variety.
The evidence presented though argues against it.quote:the paper I have says, "Their ultimate diagnosis was spastic colitis, which today would be described as irritable bowel syndrome." That's close enough for me
