Dear Jim -- I was just reading csykes post about depression and I saw your reply. I, like you, started seeing a wonderful counselor when I found myself battling with depression about a year and a half ago. Since then I've been trying to learn how to be a calmer, more serene, more empathetic/loving being. That's how I want to live my life. You mentioned 'existential' psychology -- what does it entail? Does it fall in line with, for example, Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning"? Can you recommend any good books on meditation/spirituality? I'd really appreciate anything you can suggest -- you've got my interest peaked!! Thanks and wishing you a wonderful day ...lou2
