Well seen my gi doc today on my biopys and they found mild inflammation of the large colon he said it comes to find out the prep was the cause of it thats what he told me and kathleen hit the nail on the head about preps causing irratation so he is sticking with his dx of ibs as the problems and we talked about the rome threry and i hit all of them been threw every test known besides a biopys of my liver and he said ibs dont have a set pain like lower left upper left my pain has been upper right side pain always making me thinking it my liver are gallbladder but that has been ruled out as well he says you can get pain anywhere in the stomach even ibs can cause pain right under rib cage as well they are now saying ibs can cause some flares as well in some ibd as well because when ibs it at its worse of like weeks of the big d it can make your colon have irrition and can cause some lower bleeding from over working it..

because everything is so compact in one place if you look at it all your liver is the size of a foot ball for one thing small bowell is 20 feet long your large colon six feet spleen etc thats alot of stuff put in one place...So like your bowell could be pushing on somthing making your pain else where i have felt rumbling up hi on my right side before...

Would someone please tell me if there's a medication or possibly even "surgery", whatever it takes ...that would help a person with IBS and has glucoma.Talk about two worlds colliding and the big bang!!All my doctor has told is is eat fiber, don't eat fiber. Then perscribed REMERON..gained weight but he doesn't seem too concerned with that, even though it put 20 lbs on me.I feel so lost and hopeless.Depression is an ugly thing to deal with, it easily sets in when my wife and I can't go places. I see the dissapointment on her face even though she tries to sluff it off and say it's ok. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.Thanks.Q'

ive had that alot, usually go through phases where i get that type of pain, i figure its just harder stools passing round and irritating, i havent had it in a while so cant remember the pain to describe, maybe kinda like all of a sudden hot poker, comes for a few minutes just like its on and off, stops for a little while then starts again. i usually end up having antispasmodics for it

so i take it most pain is upper right and left i do get some very mild left right before bowell movments but most of the time upper right side pain that it why i kept thinking liver and as well i was turned down to see a heptogest because of after looking at my case and he thinks its not liver related kinda put a little ease on me that a liver doc thinks that...Even though my gi doc is a liver spec as well he does both
