Anyone else keep a log of your symptoms?I am starting this now so that I can take it to my GI doc and show him exactly what is going on.Basically each time I have cramping, urgency, a BM(type and consistency) or take meds I am writing it down.

She came back and there were all these times, etc on there that she had wrote.I asked what this was and how come that was on there. Here she went and got my calender and wrote down my D times ,etc. I LMAO.

Hi Dr.Kathleen,Today I had my visit with the doctor. I took all my info on microscopic colitis, and asked that I be tested. I felt pretty dumb because he told me he already tested me for it at the same time that he had tested me for Celiac spru and I don't have any of the above. But, he was happy that I was keeping up via the internet. Now he has put me on Azulfidine. I had taken the same several years ago with pretty good results. Also, I am set up for a breath test, not for lactose but for bacteria overgrowth.

Well, it is good you were tested before, sometimes they over look that. The drug he is giving you is for inflamation, so maybe it will help with the night-time issues. The Bacterial Overgrowth thing may be worth getting checked out (look for some threads here on Dr. Pimental's book which might be something you want to check out http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/097743560...876967?n=283155 is a link to it on amazon). Maybe that will be the approach that will help.K.
