IBS Education/Support GroupJuly 12, 20046:30 - 7:30 pm4137 Bioinformatics BuildingDirections to BioinformaticsThe next support group meeting will be held July 12, 2004 in room 4137 Bioinformatics Building (building directly behind UNC Hospital�s Cardinal Parking Deck) from 6:30pm - 7:30 pm.Dr. Douglas Drossman will be present at the July 12th meeting!The UNC Functional Bowel Disorder Clinic (UNC Center for Functional GI & Motility Disorders) hosts a monthly support group for patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other functional bowel disorders. The support group was created with the idea of giving people with IBS and other functional bowel disorders a forum through which they may be able to: Gather more information and insight regarding their disorder Have the opportunity to interact with others with similar symptoms Share their experiences and knowledge concerning their condition Gain support from others with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other functional bowel disorders Through these experiences, develop coping strategies and improve their overall quality of life To attend, please RSVP to 966-0147 to Jane Hankins.
