Has anyone ever try levbid for ibs/c? did it help? I am concerned about trying it since a side effect is the "C" that I already have as well as a dry mouth which I have already also due to sinus conjestion(allergies)? Doesn't make sense to take it for ibs/c?? I was also prescibed an antacid, but I asked if I could take pepsidAC instead, and was told I could. Don't know if I should just try the pepsidAC for awhile and later try the levid if the pepsid doesn't work well. So tired of the pains & the "C", wish it would magically just go away.

I also have IBS-C+Bad allergies. I have taken Levsin, which I believe is the same as Levbid. These drugs are antispasmodics.. used to control spasm pain.. i take them occasionally on an as needed basis.. hasnt worsened my C much.. did make my mouth dry.. but wasnt a big problem.. i had zantac for stomach acid problems..

HiI was on Levbid and Levsin for many months. They both helped me for a long time with spasms. The worst part was the dry mouth. I recommend them.
