I have had good luck taking immodium the night before I have to go somewhere and then again right after my first bm. AS per lomotil, I have not taken it a lot but when I have it is after 1 (or a few) bm's and then I find that I usually have one more majjor movement and then it settles down for a few hours. Something I think you should really discuss with your Dr. though.
