So the stomach pains r back 2 day big time feeling sick and shaking know its stress but cant seem to control it, any ideas solutions or words of support would be appreciated.
Have you ever learned any stress reduction techniques.Unfortunately you probably need to practice them during periods with less stress, so they aren't as helpful in the moment, but here is the instructions for the relaxation response.http://mentalhealth.about.com/cs/stressman...t/a/relresp.htmIn the short term try taking a nice hot bath maybe with a cup of peppermint tea while you are in there. The heat tends to reduce pain, the peppermint can as well. Play some relaxing music and when you start working the stress just focus on the music and the warmth. The mind will go back to the stress/anxiety but that is OK and just remind it you are supposed to be listening to the music and feeling the warmth.
A few weeks back i was hospitalised with weight loss and nausea and severe anxiety. My weight had dropped to 56kg and i was in a right old state. They started me on mitrazapine 15mg for the anxiety. Mitrazapine is also known to act on the gut.Today i weighed myself and i came in at nearly 66kg! My anxiety has gone and my IBS symptoms are minimal.Mitrazapine works fro me so far!
Was practising breathing and emotional freedom technique and was working well until 2 day doc gave me Mirtazapine last week trying to get me off diazepam havent taken anything at all 2 day. Very unsure about the Mirtazapine as had very bad side effects with ssri,s and tca,s but will try 1 2 nite if you say they put weight on as i need 2 lost a lot in the last 3 years and need 2 regain it. thanks 4 the replies really helps 2 know i am not the only 1.
